Kids in Kathmandu

I love the colours of this page. I used pp from Daisy Ds Gypsy range which has an oriental feel. I hand cut the title because I DON"T have a Sillohette...yet. Come on people it's Christmas! Just think of the joy one $600 electronic die cutting machine would bring to this wouldbe scrapper!
Anyhow, back to the lo. I used brown & cream primas with orange crystal centres and my favourite embellie, at the moment, magic mesh. I punched the sun shapes from the pp and added 3 metal buttons to finish the page.
The pic is of Anita & Andrew celebrating her 23rd birthday in the capital of Nepal. You can read all about their 3 month travels through India & Nepal on their blog.
Well I've got a full day ahead, laundry, cleaning, etc..... so see you soon.

Hey I just made my first movie!!!

Don't get too excited cos it's not much but at least I had a go, and you know what they say about practice! Anyhow have a squiz at this. Max is the cocky in the cage and Buddy is cockatoo that flew in and made himself at home. He stayed for a week before he was captured by someone on the other side of town.

Post Numero Uno

Well much to the delight of dd's #1, 2, 3 & #1 son, I have ventured into the world of blog. I can just hear them now saying "finally mothers' got with the program". Don't expect too much though, I'll probably forget this thing exists once I sign out lol.
Hey, Dh has just arrived home from work so it's time for a cuppa and a chat. I'll catch you all later, MAYBE.
Oh, nearly forgot, here's my latest scrapbook page. Just finished this morning. The pp has been in my stash for years so about time it saw the light of day. The pic is of Buddy the cockatoo that flew into our yard for a visit and the other is Misty the peahen and her chicks. One chick disappeared but the second one, Skye, is now fully grown and lives with the chickens in the chook pen. She really does believe she's a chicken.
